Does the Remington curler wand last long?

I know how to use a curling iron wand without a glove very well, im used to getting burned so i'm not worried about it being dangerously hot. My hair is thick so i'm glad its 410degrees! The reviews seem really good for it being pretty cheap. I just want to know it its one of those things that break in 3 months. I want it to last long or else it'd be a waste of money! thanks for ya'lls help!
