Curling Wands- Remmington or Conair?

Next week I'm going to pick up a curling wand from target, they sell both brands and i was wondering what one is better. I had the Remington Wet2Straight straightener and it only lasted about a year, and before that I had a conair hair straighter that you could change the plates on and it was a piece of crap. So they each brand have negativities but i want the one that will have the best quality and last the longest.
